I was thinking about this last night. something something knuckles latching on to any feeling of Connection to his friends

not only is he autistic and struggles with the feeling of being Separate from everyone else, but he also grew up entirely alone and isolated. that shit fucks you and how you veiw/form relationships UP. he is very introverted and values his alone time greatly, but he’s lonely a lot

he sees sonic and amy and tails being Friends, just the little things, and it makes him so agitated and upset even if he doesn't realise it consciously. even the little things like sonic wearing the shoes amy got him for his birthday, tails falling asleep on sonic's shoulder, the miniature but fully functional piko piko hammer key chain on amy's phone that tails made. it's all evidence that they're close to one another in a way that knuckles isn't, that he isn't sure he'll ever be able to be

but then one day amy makes him a friendship bracelet and he makes the most ugliest face in response and she's like "oh if you don't like it you don't have to-" but he's already tied it around his wrist and tucked it under the cuff of his glove. tails comes up and insists on making him a reliable, working communicator and for a start he's wary, but a few days later tails sends him a message of a cool looking rock that's apparently a thousand year old meteor, isn't that cool? I heard you like rocks so I thought you'd find this interesting. whenever sonic finds his way up to angel island he starts bringing different food, mostly foreign herbs and spices, or fruits or nuts or whatever, small things that knuckles can add to his meals if he wants or can nibble on if he's hungry

they all do this very offhandedly, like it doesn't mean the fucking world, and after they finally get off his island and leave him in peace he sits by the master emerald and is confused as to why his chest feels so light but he feels like crying

Yes to start off the the New Year I am posting stuff ... from the last few months of last year and it's a One Piece AU where Amy is called Cerise(I like to give counterparts different names. Deal with it.) and she has joined the Straw Hats after being rescued from a circus she was basically enslaved to be in. First picture is basically a traced screenshot of Nami to try to put Cerise in the One Piece style while to give her unique eye shape and such. Did not turn out so good. Second is basically just doodles of Cerise using her weapons of choice.

The refs are just some of the outfits I thought Cerise would wear. I took some inspiration from Sonic the Comic to give her more variety. With exception of the hairstyle, the overall dress is just something I thought she would look cute in.

The last two are just a closer look at her tarot cards and hammer.

Did I spend WAY to much time on these? Absolutely. Did I have fun anyways? Also yes.

i am truly so emotional like to the point where i dont think i can look at what anyone else is saying (even tho i love connected with the community) but like i feel deeply that i need to process this on my own

i'm out there asking people the same question, so, here it is: which hedgehog (or any other main cast mobian) would slay on the karaoke? you can rank them if you want to~

ok i'm so sorry i kept this in my inbox for while bc i kept thinking about it.

so alright i think for me the OBVIOUS answer is sonic slays on the karaoke. he's definitely a good singer, he'll sing any of his theme songs rlly well and LOVES making a performance out of it (the show off)

next i think is amy, she can sing pretty much just as well as sonic. i also hc that she's actually really good at screamo stuff!! if you're familiar with poppy, i think amy can do that same perfect mixture of cutesy singing and screaming her heart out (good examples are "lessen the damage" and "say cheese")

i don't think silver and shadow would ever go to karaoke without a lot of cajoling from the others, but silver i think would enjoy it! however i don't think he's actually a very good singer gfkhfkg and shadow i feel would have a very flat singing voice which doesn't fit most songs BUT he ends up having fun with amy because they have similar tastes in music :] (heavy metal)

so to rank them in how well they can sing: sonic and amy (tied), shadow, silver. but to rank their singing specifically in karaoke: sonic, silver, amy, shadow. silver is just over the moon to be included and he has a lot of fun even if his singing is. not the best <3
